Britain's first sex survey

The BBC will be screening a documentary about a sex survey, dubbed the ‘Little Kinsey’ that was conducted in Britain in 1949. It went even further than Kinsey's work, by (gosh!) asking women about sex. The findings told a story of pre-marital sex, extra-marital affairs, men sleeping with prostitutes and each other, and such perversities as cross-dressing and masturbation. The results were so shocking that it was hushed-up.
The program will be shown on BBC 4, Sunday 9th October at 11:15pm.
