The new war on porn, which Alberto Gonzales recently declared, saw its first sortie a few days ago. The FBI raided several of Max Hardcore's properties as part of an investigation into possible obscenity charges about five of his DVDs.
The story has been reported on the AVN and YNOT websites.
The FBI also confiscated Hardcore's servers from his ISP, but some have now been returned.
Max Hardcore's work is widely considered to be some of the more extreme pornography being made by a mainstream producer, so it's not surprising that he's been targetted, and neither is it the first time he's been hit with obscenity charges.
