Police close exhibition of nude paintings

In Wakefield, Yorkshire, police have made an art student take down some of her paintings which show naked women embracing. The paintings aren't exactly hardcore pornography—they show breasts, a little, but that's all.

Reported in the Wakefield Today (via Melon Farmers).

This was Sally Barton's the first exhibition.

I can't see why people think paintings like these would be dangerous to “six and seven-year-old children passing the gallery”. What exactly is so scary about nudity?
