Morning-after pill bought more from chemists

In the UK the number of women buying the morning-after pill (or EC, emergency contraception) over-the-counter rather than getting a prescription from their doctor. But the actual number of women using it has remained about the same.
Not particularly surprising, but the US are still wrangling over whether EC should be more readily available. This would seem to indicate that women are not likely to just go out having more sex because they realise they can take the morning-after pill the next day, which some of the right-wing types keep saying.
