Google Suggests no sex

Google have a nifty new feature called Google Suggests. As you type your search query it pops up a little menu offering to complete typing of the most likely words and phrases. Of course, the first thing I tried with it was some ‘dirty words’.

Unfortunately, it seems Google don't want to help people type their more sexy queries. For example, typing ‘por’ gets you ‘porsche’ and two misspellings of same, but no ‘porn’ or ‘pornography’, even though I've got the filtering turned off in my preferences.

Try typing ‘cunnilingus’ and you'll get a different set of bad spellings with each keystroke, but the right one is filtered out. And Google dares not suggest that you might seach for ‘homosexual’, but suggests ‘homoseksual’ as a better alternative!

I can understand why Google might not want kiddies accidentally searching for naughty words, but for people who have got the normal search filtering turned off is this censorship really necessary?
